New Moves and Updates

Hello and thanks for your continued show of interest in my artwork.  I have been busy with many things but I haven't updated this blog for some time; I have some cool updates to share and there are new ways to reach me.

The biggest change has been my relocation from Philadelphia, PA to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2017.  A brand new fine art and photography studio was constructed at my home in Cabarrus Co., and most importantly, I now can be found online at my new website: joosestudios.com.

At this website, you will find my current artwork exhibited for sale as well as any retail merchandise that I am offering.  My personal blogging will primarily be kept there so I hope that you will check in there for all updates.  Please feel free to continue to review this Tanya Murphy Fine Art blog for any past content about me, my art and all previous show history's.  This blog is a great source of my personal records of my early years as an artist and its information will remain here indefinitely.

Thank you very much for visiting me here, and I hope to see you soon at joosestudios.com.

Sincerely,
Tanya Murphy

GIVING VOICE: WOMEN ARTISTS, INSPIRATIONS
Curated by Tanya Murphy

"GIVING VOICE" STATEMENT:

"The Exhibition Giving Voice: Women Artist, Inspirations reinforces the influential power of woman and her ability to speak, act and express herself openly through her artwork.  It has been my mission as a curator, in a male dominated art industry, to be a stimulant for exhibitions embracing the merit of women artist.  This show brings together four women of different generations, using their varying mediums, who have traveled all over the world, seeking toward a common goal of appreciation and elevation in their art."   Tanya Murphy

On March 28th the show reception was a smash hit. We had a great turn out from people who came to support our efforts. The ladies above were in the spotlight along with their beautifully displayed creations.
